How to install safely

  1. Open the official Game Jolt page and download the main package (currently 2.0.2).
  2. Extract the zip to its own folder and run the game executable inside it.
  3. If Windows or your antivirus flags it, check that the file came from Game Jolt. The developer once republished build 1.0.5 after it was falsely detected as a virus.
  4. Avoid "unlocked" or re-packed builds from mirror sites — they are not from SpookyRick.

Browser vs. download

The browser version needs no install and downloads about 80 MB of data on first launch, which is then cached. It is the quickest way to try Frickbears 3. The Windows download is the official, most up-to-date build and supports custom guards and characters from the template packs.
